As everyone knows, (well anyone who has ever watched True Blood anyway,) a vampire must be invited to enter a human dwelling by the owner. Sometimes it isn’t 100% clear that a valid invite has been issued. As this comic illustrates, mobile phones make it very easy for modern vampires to consult their lawyers in the moment and validate an invite according to byzantine vampire law! Be careful this Halloween and all year!
This comic was inspired by a comment on the Toonhole Vampire Killers comic.
OK closing my door & removing the welcome mat
My mat says GO AWAY. I hope that’s clear. Those to whom it does not apply know they are whitelisted.
Ha, this came out great. Perfectly seasonal.
It is like having “welcome” on your server’s login banner, cheers!
Maybe that is why I don’t invite in door to door salesmen…they are blood suckers
DO windows count also as a loophole? Either way, I’m gonna get all of my doors removed. 🙂
Only if there aren’t any screens? I dunno, that opens up all kinds of possibilities, as vampires can also turn into bats and fly between gratings. I really don’t want to be sued for this answer. Consult your vampire lawyer before committing to any action.
My pocket lawyer is always too busy dancing to Gangnam Style to help me out.
Some smart-ass will invent a lawyer app (it will be tied into some massive legal database) then they will all be out of biz!
