I had this wart thing on the back of my leg. It kept snagging on the razor and bleeding every time I shaved my legs. I was hoping I would just slice it off, but it kept growing back. So I enlisted the aid of my doc to get it off there permanently. My doctor and I had this exact conversation. Ironically I *DID* come down with a superbug infection in the incision immediately after this minor surgery. My previous and repeated lacerations of the site with an unsterile razor, however, had never caused a flaming infection. In retrospect, I think the doc should have cancelled the “operation,” as I was just off a course of antibiotics (ergo lacking in all bugs including the “good” ones), and I was in a clinic. Clinics are notorious for being maggoty with superbugs. Either that or I should have insisted that he do it in the parking lot with *MY* pocket knife. It should have healed with just a tiny scar, but now I have another big ragged scar to remember the story by.
